I'll preface this by saying I'm not very good at any of these games. Anything above recruit level bots and I'm almost guaranteed to get my a$$ handed to me. Playing on XBox Live isn't even remotely enjoyable for me.I was introduced to this game with COD Ghosts and was expecting AW to be a whole new level of awesome. Not so much.In my opinion...The Bad- The weapons are mostly lame and/or annoying- The jumping was cool at first but not so much now.- The Exo abilities are weak and don't last long enough to make them worth even using.- The maps are decent but nothing special.- It's disappointing that you can't get the same level of customization in local play for your soldier.The Good- The firing range is a nice addition. Try out a weapon before equipping it.- Some of the add-ons for weapons are decent. I like some of the new scopes in particular.- The game still have time to bring in better maps and weapons.- You can play "classic mode" that turns off the jumping.The Ugly- Playing against 8 year olds that use more profanity than a sailor.- Overcrowded servers and gross lag. (although in some cases lag is the only way I can make a kill when playing on XBox Live).I'm not sure I regret buying this game... but in hindsight I should have just done what I ended up doing anyway and buying the Season Pass for Ghosts.I Bought it for the Multiplayer. So far, I have enjoyed my experience on day one.There are few bugs but that is to be expected. There were server or host had issues first off.Every player in the game ping went to one bar "In the red". This happened on at least four or matches while I was playing.When I found a good match, it was very fun and a learning curve. The exo suit abilities take some time to figure out. I still have not mastered the dodge ability. I like the fact you can try out the weapons in a firing range before a match to try out a new load out.Player tip: Turn up the sensitivity before you just jump into a match. Three was way too low and the gun felt like it was slowly moving across the screen. It made it hard to aim at anybody. I ended up doubling what I had in cod ghosts.I give it 8/10 until the servers get fixed. If you liked black ops 2 this is a buy for sure.I mean, I can't lie, it's all right. Even though you'll get bent over by a flying squirrel in purple "assassin" clothing wielding the BAL, it's still a fun jumping simulator. I never knew so many people loved rooftops. Really, it's awe inspiring. Overall, the packaging was nice and everything worked as it should. It's a refreshing new take on halo errr cod and it's a breath of fresh air compared to the usual reskin. The mechanics are nice and the BAL is cool too. So are the rooftops. I might take up home improvement and install shingles due to my new found love of rooftops. Thanks COD. I owe you one.This game was the worst preorder decision my husband and I have ever made. The first few months of gameplay were choppy and full of glitches. The multiplayer maps were full of bugs that made gameplay unpleasant and weren't addressed effectively or in a timely fashion by the game creators. The campaign is actually kind of pleasant and the cut scenes are visually appealing. However in the game there's still a few glitches and the the quality of the characters movement and facial expressions is not as clean or clear as the cut scenes.The multiplayer however IS the bread winner for the Call Of Duty franchise, and the multiplayer is the biggest disappointment in this game. After months of patches it is still the worst part of this title. It seemed almost unfinished when released.It seems to me that after years of success with previous titles that the game developers have gotten lazy, knowing that they have a large fan base prone to preordering the game for the perks and exclusives.Thanks to this experience we will never preorder another Call Of Duty title again.I have played all the COD games and believe that everything about Advanced Warfare is the best one yet with exception to the hover and super jump Exo features.if not for the classic game mode I would have returned it for a refund. I never liked Halo or the other games similar to COD because they were not realistic or in simpler terms the technology doesn't exist yet.Good game, it shipped fast. BUT I wish I would have known this version DID NOT come with the free upgrade to xbox one or I would haven't bought this version. HOWEVER it did come with the season pass, which does carry over to xbox one.I purchased this set as a gift for my husband, who has enjoyed having the little extra perks that come along with the set. Campaign is very violent, as to be expected my husband isn't overly fond of the storyline, as he has been with previous versions of Call of Duty.There were a lot of issues with on-line play for 360 owners for the first week or so that causes so much frustration I quit playing AW for a few days. Many issues have been fixed but there are still glitches occuring.
