I admit that I invest significantly into "audiophile" equipment and read way too deep into the HeadFi or GearSlutz forums for my hardware insight, but where many of them shun Bluetooth speakers as a whole, I think this is a solid product.Audio Quality:My use case is setting this up on a table or on the grass outside during bbq's, swimming pool hangouts, smoking around the fire pit, etc. It works wonderfully for this. Audio quality is great, better than the equivalent Bose units that many of my friends have (they agreed as well) but also with the benefit of being very omnidirectional. It sounds good in any 360 degree angle from the speakers. To add some reality, these won't sound as good as even cheap bookshelf speakers mounted on your patio in your backyard but then again, it isn't claiming to be that. The sound is completely acceptable for what it's trying to be.Build Quality:I haven't tested it in any extreme environments so far nor have I tested its IP67 waterproof rating by chucking it into the pool, but I've left it out playing during a rainstorm and it never had a hiccup. The device itself feels very solid with a bit of heft and it's fallen over and been knocked around by the dogs enough that I trust its durability. The battery life is also insane. On average I think I charge it once a month if that. If it's a particularly social time of year, I might charge it once a week.Ergonomics:This is what really impressed me. When turned up, it sounds like a speaker much bigger than it is but it still manages to fit in my backpack with room to spare. I can ride my bike or motorcycle with this in the backpack while barely weighing me down. It's the reason I bought this vs its bigger competitors. The button layouts are easy to understand and easy to use. Turning on the speakers and playing music takes less than a few seconds. Syncing another phone doesn't take more than holding down one button and waiting a few seconds for a beep.
