Janome 8900 Large Foot Controller for Sewing Machine - Heavy Duty Foot Pedal with Speed Control - Perfect for Quilting, Dressmaking & Crafting Projects

My Janome 9400 started displaying an error message on the screen, and would quit sewing. When I looked up the error message in the manual, it said to contact the shop for repair. sigh. My dealer went our of business, so taking it way far away was not an appealing option. The machine did work when I used the button on the front of the machine to operate it so I deduced that the foot peddle had issues. Prices were steep for a new unit so I took a chance on this controller which happily did fit my 9400, although it will not accommodate the remote thread cutter attachment. I hated the thread cutter anyway, so it's no loss to me. Machine has been working flawlessly since I replaced the foot controller.
