Overall, I'd call these headphones a jack of all trades and a master of none. They do a lot of things pretty well, and they do it really affordably.I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506 music headphones that do a great job. But they don't have a microphone and are awkward for leaving the house with, so I was looking for a more versatile alternative for when I need to have a microphone. They're pretty good in that role, but not perfect.Sound:Pros: they have a fairly clear and detailed midrange. They're close enough to the Sonys in that area that I have no complaints. If you don't already have pretty good headphones, these will be an upgrade and you'll hear a lot more in your music than you're used to hearing.Cons: They don't have much bass extension. If you buy headphones to get bass, you will not find these fulfilling. The Sonys have clear, precise bass response with extension that goes down fairly low (though still not to sub-bass like some higher-end headphones). The Jabras cut off noticeably higher, and are missing a lot of the bass sound I'm used to hearing. For a lot of music styles, this is no big deal, but if you listen to music to get a really solid bottom, these are not for you. Also, these have a pretty unremarkable soundstage. The Sonys provide a ton of width that gives you space to hear all the different instruments as distinct and as located in a specific place on the soundstage. With these, it feels like everything is closer together and it's harder to hear the individual sounds.Calls:These have worked like a champ for phone calls and Zoom meetings. I ran into one situation where I called into a conference call where people were sitting around a conference table talking, where it wasn't very loud and I could barely hear anyone. These didn't have either the headroom for me to increase the volume to hear any better. Instead I ended up grabbing an old pair of decent wired earbuds, and with those I could hear fine.Connectivity:Bluetooth works great. It was super easy to pair. I can connect it to my computer and my phone at the same time, and it will do things like pause Spotify on my PC to let me take a call on my phone. I can also walk to the next room and it will stay connected. Also, when it's out of power, I can still use a cable to connect it and listen to music -- but the microphone won't work like that, so you can't take calls. It charges pretty fast, though, and you can plug it into a USB charger and charge while you use it, which is super convenient if you have a portable charger.Comfort:They're just ok. I can listen to them for hours without them getting too uncomfortable, but at the same time, my ears feel relieved every time I take them off. The headband pushes the earpieces into the ears to ensure that they stay on. At the same time, I don't think they would stay on well enough to exercise with them. I think I don't love the on-ear design -- either earbuds or over-ear headphones are ultimately more comfortable in my opinion.Overall:I considered giving these 3 stars because of all the things that are less than perfect. But the thing is, they fill a real need at this price point. Sure, they're a compromise, but compared to spending 2-3 times as much to get something better, they're worth it to me. If you have the money, an upgrade may well be a better deal. You’ll notice here that Amazon sells both here on this page and these reviews are mixed among the two models. The Move Original is often sold for about $30-40 less than the $100 list price of either model. Read on to learn differences and if the New Move (more commonly known as Move Style) is worth the premium:WHY IS MOVE A GOOD CHOICE VS. COMPETING HEADPHONES?First, both Move models are extremely similar and top many lists of best Bluetooth headphones for under $200. Without a doubt, they are the best Bluetooth headphones under $100 and far more versatile than the competition. The only downside is passive noise cancelling vs active on headphones that cost much more. For most of us, passive is great with no downside. I own two pairs of headphones with Active Noise cancelling, including the legendary Bose, and prefer it only for the noisiest of environments or air travel. For music listening, you’ll always get a more natural tonal range by switching active noise cancellation off.Among the many plusses, not only are both models stellar for music, they have built in omni-directional mics that make them ideal for Covid-era working from home, or video conferencing. Both Move models are light and comfortable to wear for hours, with a slight edge going to the Move Original since it looks the same but doesn’t fit as tight.Another rare, and in my opinion, incredible feature is that the Move models both support being able to plug in if you don’t want to bother with Bluetooth. Should your (very long lasting) battery run out in the middle of a meeting, simply plug in and you are good to go! The cable is thoughtfully included, too.WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOVE AND NEW MOVE STYLE?Very little. The Move gives you up to 8 hours talk and music time—just like the New Move. The New Move Style is supposed to hug your head a little tighter during athletic activities yet the few negative reviews of it say it’s not so head hugging after all. You’ll note some VERY minor style differences such as different color choices. Neither Move model has a case or protective bag so you might want to seek one out on your own.Hope this long review has been of some help with your buying decision. We found the Move for quite a bit less and thus very happy with our choice of the Original. I specialize in tech reviews and happy to report that both models are truly stellar within their price range--class leading!HAPPY LISTENING AND RELAXING! TIME TO KICK UP THE JAMS. . . or . . . "Some users may have success in pairing a Jabra Move Style Edition with a computer, video game console or other unsupported device using Bluetooth, but the full functionality of the Jabra Bluetooth device may not be available. Because your Jabra Bluetooth device is optimized for use with mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, we do not recommend you pair your device directly with an unsupported device. Jabra does not guarantee device performance or provide support if problems result from this type of connection. If you choose to try pairing your Jabra Move Style Edition with a computer or other unsupported device using Bluetooth, please make sure that all of your devices, including your Jabra Move Style Edition are up to date with the latest firmware. Although we have not tested this connection, some have seen success in connecting with a computer using a Jabra Bluetooth adapter. If the challenges persist, we would suggest reaching out to the manufacturer of the unsupported device for support." Also they invite me to contact the manufacturer... which is what- not Jabra?????? no further contact info provided....
